By your own admission, "99% of these stocks are worthless." That makes us speculators, not investors. Therefore opinions expressed here are speculations. Their value has been much better than the 1% you have suggested. Opinions, tempered by knowledge and experience have improved our odds well beyond 1%. If you want 80-90% or more, you are in the wrong place and your anxiety is better cured in a CD or blue chip somewhere.
