CEO Larry was talking on camera with Resource Intelligence's Doug Hadfield in early Summer 2011 (about 4 months before the slated date for PFS at that time) about turning EMD into LMD, and talking about profit potential. Based on then-current prices for LMD, around $8-$9, and costs to produce, which Larry assumed were $2-$3, but which now we know would be higher by at least 60 cents (because of higher cost to produce the EMD), but likely not much more than that, even if we say $4/lb costs, then that's still $4-$5/lb gross profit.
If AMY's indeed got that ultra-purity going for it without the iron contaminants, then they could command a premium price, one would think.
