LOL, OK. There was a competitor, but I don't believe it was even for the botanical DNA. Called airtight patent, other company lost. No, the whole thing went before Congress, etc. to use this method on microchips after it was also proved without a doubt, unbreakable. As per the interview Dr. Hayward gave today on documents, they tried 12 different methods of anti-counterfeit, only one method prevailed through all tests of attempts to disguise counterfeiting.
Will someone else come along to compete? Doubt it. We're talking international patent, not just U.S.,, but I do see your concern. Absolutely nothing is perfect. But it sure puts a damper and cost to trying to counterfeit. That is one of the big parts on not breaking it.
