I thought the AMD strategy was (1) servers (2) laptops (3) desktops. You seem to want to change it to (1) (3) (2).

Why can't AMD's increased capacity be applied to the (1) (2) (3) plan? Servers and laptops have higher margins - don't they?

And surely the Intel manufacturing capacity you speak of can be more easily directed at (3) to further commodotise it if AMD spends a greater proportion of its manufacutring resources there.
