Not big hit, no. It doesn't matter what stock or sector, there are usually some direction, depending upon if it is a shorter or a pumper. But rarely does the stock move in the direction that the analysts say the price target is cut or increased based on financials. Like always, it is a crap shoot to assume the publicity will drive it enough to profit yourself. Bigger picture affecting AGNC and other mREITs is when the speculators push hard on rumors about fed involvement, whether printing money or change interest rates, or QE3. Same with Euro woes, the bigger the tie to euro banks.....
