History Sure Can Repeat:

<Hurricane> seems to be intensifying now, general track is taking it into the gulf by Tuesday or so. No one has mentioned this much at all here. But I could see possible short term momo run setting up if a major hurricane forms.

Well, the hurricane was "Ernesto" and the above quote was, to the day, exactly six years ago on August 25th, 2006.

At the time, the company was selling roofing tiles and emergency stand-by generators and many began posting that just the threat of the storm would increase sales potential for both items and thus spike the stock value.

(It didn't)

Of practical concern today is that any Capstone emergency lighting products being purchased at retail now because of the forecasts of possible "three day power outages" have already been accounted for. If the shelves are by any chance emptied, it is the future re-orders that will contribute to Capstone revenues.
