Agreed they should be recorded as intangible assets if there was a cost to acquiring (probably not in kma's case) In the future, reinvestments should be in intellectual property or machinery or do you know? If intellectual is this free as in it come from the mind of Jeff? This is not a bs question. If we believe there should be significant outlays of cash for future technologies this should be considered as with any business when thinking about future pps. Yes this is already considered in PR ratios purportedly but some of us like to still use the method I valuation from a discounted future cash flows perspective.
