Dan, I was not prescient enough to realize that all the reasons I didn't sell were based on lies. Same is true for all the others who lost hundreds of thousands and millions.
Our flaw was that we believed companies tell something approximating the truth, do not engage in financing which destroys the company while lining their pockets and do not trade on false hope - like they are still doing.
But our friend is correct. Had I known this was the way the company operated I would have known to take full advantage of the inflated stock price to make money, as many did, rather than believe things were as they said and make the logical decision that it would get better. Especially while the most prominent shareholders were trumpeting the same mesaage,
But I was too naivie - nonetheless, the blatabt falsehoods and dishonesty of EDIG did indeed give me the chance to profit, the lights are still on, and they are still doing it.
