The government is subject to the wishes of the electorate who will be voting soon..... Uncle Sam does not have absolute authority to behave in a capricious manner..... even though it may appear so..... I admit..... I feel duped from time-to-time..... We can always debate the persuasive power of well-placed propaganda......since it works to some degree.....
