I have a theory:

I think crappy papers with nothing to back them up, not even an author can in no way move a stock this much either up or down.

so what is doing it? I think there are other forces at work, either shorts trying to get the hell out or longs trying to get the hell in at better prices. So if this day happened without a crappy story then we would all be looking at each other wondering what happened, maybe even the toothless SEC would even take a look. However with the cover of a crappy story like we just saw, then these forces are able to do what they need to and if anything was questioned everyone points to the article. But again, do you really think and article like this lacking any credibility tanked this to these levels? I dont, I think this is just typical Wall St games at play.
