No they don't and neither does OnStar, but both companies have their units made for them exclusively, not so with Navicom, in fact, they have devices that are made by a contract manufacturer for an affiliate and then private labled from that affiliate to Navicom. The point, I believe, is how much control do they have over the technology and how much did they contribute to the creation of the product. It's not that important that they did not contribute to the design, if they owned it, but when they claim it's their's and it's not, then it reflects on the credibility of the company. All that should matter is how much they make when selling it, but the company chooses to tell the public that they're creating this great stuff when they are not. This is troublesome because when can you trust them to draw the line between what's really happening and what they want you to believe is happening. My advice is to quit the BS, the deal could be good enough to stand without the misleading PR.
