Well since the definition is.

"The illegal buying or selling of securities on the basis of information that is unavailable to the public"

Then it would be pretty risky move for JR to pass this kind of info via email to select persons who might buy or sell based on that info.
I think it's fair to say that anybody who says they have received these emails is a liar and/or a flipper hoping to decieve.
