Sigh..... No it is not, if you read and understand what they say the numbers are you would know that. It has been explained hundreds of times on these boards. I bet I myself have explained it over a dozen times.

Those numbers have next to nothing to do with the short interest. FINRA will explain it to you and tell you the bi-weekly numbers are the ONLY numbers that are meaningful as far as short interest.
