susie -- this war and every other war except Vietnam, was not fought by the polls -- Vietnam gets an exception because it was mainly an "altruistic" war that was initiated by the dems but waged by repubs, with a dem congress seizing the opportunity to bring down a repub president -- no matter that the commies won and 50,000 Americans died for naught -- except that the commies thought long and hard about starting another one

This war is being fought to win, the security of America, indeed of the free world is at stake

no dem has a chance thinking that any platform that does not include winning in Iraq, winning in the ME, Syria, Iran, etc

the polls that counts will be the elections
