True, but would it be possible for Zynga to develop a platform on their own for gambling, as well as it's own servers? Plus allow people to gamble through the facebook platform. So this way, FB gets their share of profit and zynga makes money on both fronts. Unless they are obligated to only allow things to go through the FB platform?

FB competing against Zynga would be extremely bad, now weather both companies would suffer or only one... I don't really know the answer to that.

What Zynga needs to do it develop an original game that would somewhat remove the tag "copycat". If zynga does that and focuses on publishing others developers game like it started, I can see Zynga making it big, but it will take sometime.
