No I can't, but If its illegal to text and drive and you get into an accident while texting, your insurance company won't cover a dime. Therefore, they don't lose any money either way. If it was LEGAL to text and drive, they would have to pay out lots in repairs and I could see why they would want to add this to their customer base.

All the things listed are legal driver's habits. They want you to be safe, they are not going to force you to obey the law. If the public really cared about things like this, instead of a red light, there would be a gate that blocked your side of the intersection. Just like they have in parking garages. Instead, they put a red light camera on top of the traffic light, and take your picture if you run it. They allow enough error for you to choose whether to be safe or not, and the result is that they can make revenue off of fines. Cops don't really want you to stop texting and driving, otherwise they wouldn't make any money in fines. Same reason all of our cars go 100mph when the speed limit is 65mph
