This is silly. When you become a Christian, you agree to change completely. You leave your old life of sin and live for God. "The old has passed away, the new has come". Christ commands us to deny ourself, take up our cross and follow Him. I am a completely different person now than I was 15 years ago, when Christ saved me in my early 20's. I gave up many things I treasured. I read the Bible and asked God to conform me to the image of His Son. I didn't look for loopholes to hang on to this or that favorite sin. I tried at first, but the Holy Spirit is relentless.

May the Holy Spirit be relentless in your life, convicting you of mishandling His word.
