There are a total of 1.7 billion new shares to be released into the float over the next 9 months, quintupling the amount of the original IPO float size. All shares with a zero or minimal cost basis for employees or early insiders! To keep this "just" at $20, there needs to be an extra demand in the size of $34 billion to come from somewhere just to meet the extra supply of shares.
And what reason is there not to sell as an insider? That's what hedge funds do for a living. They have taken the risk a few years back and want to cash in for compensation. That exit route is the primary business objective for seed funders. It's part of the game from the day they signed the cheques to Zuckerberg, but it has been largely overstretched here.
