I've heard the same thing Pengy. The two companies testing the prototypes are running the devices through rigorous tests: varying temperature conditions at extremes, leaving it running for weeks at a time, and in general trying to see what the tech can do and where it could break down. One of the companies testing the tech is the largest and leader in its field. My understanding is that NVEI is in regular contact with these entities and that so far all goes well. When will we hear an update report? Not sure but the indications I get are that the tests could take even a few more months. Hopefully we'll hear something well before they're finished.

Furthermore, these two companies aren't the only ones interested in the tech. NVEI is having discussions with several other entities that have expressed interest as well, so things are moving along on several fronts.
