The really funny part was when (I believe I heard correctly) a gentleman was introduced as a (I think) publisher or writer for a mining publication.
He just came out and said that in talking to the miners, the men with the shovels (or some such), they were really unhappy with the merger.
Blasutti referred his question over to the US Silver guys, and "Gord" stammered his way to reacting by stating that that's not what he's seen or heard.
The gentleman emphatically reiterated his point that that's what he's heard from the miners.
Geez. Management having a different viewpoint from the worker bee's??? Nawwwww, couldn't be.... could it???
Otherwise, 99 percent of the call was Blasutti walking through the powerpoint, and relating that a HUGE part of his new job is to convince institutions that everything is wonderful with the new company, so they will buy. And he implored retail investors to hang in there.
