The technology opens up all sorts of new ideas. I know one of the main developers of the facebook mobile apps. Months before the IPO I was told that they were freaking out because they could not put the advertisements on the mobile apps the way they can on desktops. I should have shorted the stock:)
Anyway, imagine that your facebook posts could be via an avatar and that you just found the best espresso machine ever. Why not have your avatar promote it? And get a piece of the action? Imagine doing multilevel (yuk) marketing using avatars?
