Ekom-Eya Gold Mining Operation
As outlined in the main exploration report, the “tailing’s pile” and “waste-dump” are rich in Gold content, with 15 local employees presently working at extracting the Gold from these resources.
Sorry but just because you can't see them all in 1 picture, doesn't mean they don't have 15 workers. And..... the picture you posted is from before July....
Artisanal production conducted by locals has been ongoing on a small scale for some time, but with the arrival of our mine manager Thomas Brookes to the Ekom Eya mine site in July, there has been an increase in activity and planning for a greater increase in production through proper mining techniques has begun.
