RichieBoy...sub-penny shares, lack of interest, etc.....

Potse what was your all fired rush? You could have quietly accumulated more at a cheaper price.

I can't speak for what other people may have experienced in their attempts to purchase significant amounts of SUIP shares at sub-penny prices, but I've always found it to be easier said than done. I've also found it unusually difficult at times while I have built a position to get relatively small buy orders filled at the ask prices.

I think I have mentioned in the past that I generally consider the 1-3 cent area to be a relatively attractive entry/accumulation area, so when I get an opportunity to snag a nice chunk of shares at one cent I think it makes good sense to take advantage of it.

Nobody watching this summer and all. Is there a reason for your haste? I have been too busy with other plays the market is pretty hot for summer trading been some real movers! So a little hard to understand why you needed those shares all of a sudden. Did you mean to boost the PPS and grab some attention or was it something more complicated...nobody even remotely interested in this right now. Did you pull the trigger thinking a run was coming?

While I enjoy participating in momentum-types of plays/investments, I also think the idea of buying shells/operating companies when "nobody is even remotely interested" is still a valid/profitable philosophy of investment.

Nearly all successful momentum types of shell/operating company moves probably have periods of low volume/interest in their histories. You see it almost on a daily/weekly basis here on IHUB, when something ignites a stock that just seems to emerge out of obscurity. And then you see people posting about how they wish they would have loaded up on shares when nobody was interested in the stock.

There was a lack of interest in SUIP the last time it was trading around the sub-penny level back around late 2010. And then the stock went to 15 cents. So all things considered, I like the quality of the shell (management, valuation, etc), and I'm reasonably pleased with my purchase the other day.
