i love when you say "masses". Are you an old socialist at heart? Basically i am. I know capitalism works better but at some level the socialists had a better handle on the human condition.
FYI, imho the powers that be will be demanding lower rates real soon. The american consumer will be facing $4 gas, $1,000 home heating bills, higher variable mortgage rates which by the way Greenie encouraged them to take.
