What I make of your bid sitting there and not being filled is simple.

You didn't want to "slap the ask" at .0002 and the "ask" wasn't ready to sell at .0001(that's how supply and demand works, nobody will pay .0002 so they lower it to .0001) but clearly if you hadn't cancelled your buy order it would have gone through because the "ask" side clearly would have accepted it when the "ask" was lowered to .0001.

That's how the trade gaps form.

Of course it went through when the ask lowered to .0001 because then the "ask" is being slapped and because of the large differences in size the .0001 "slap" changes nothing in the way of the "ask" size or price .

I hope that helps you understand why your bid sat there.
