It's a penny stock for a reason I guess. Getting current should have popped the stock, but news is generally priced in anyway. The only thing to do when the news hits is sell it. Some fresh PR's about operations should pop the stock, yet then again, it may be a sell the news mentality. The news they release is going to have to be substantial enough, and unexpected enough, to create genuine interest in the company. No news and the stock drifts, or tanks, lower. Ho-hum news probably drifts the stock lower. Great news moves the stock in the direction we want. Hopefully great news is in the offing. MHO.
