success: OMA has issued standards which teach away from NeoMedia's patents - the reason their is no 8K license. So OMA will negatively impact NeoMedia's ability to license patents for barcode management. Instead, potential licensee can chose the OMA model. When someone negatively impact a company's revenue and market share, they are competitors.

Similarly, NeoMedia's current processes for "partial indirect" do not require a registry.
