"Monster Silk(TM) is ready for market now."

That appears to be untrue... and a physical impossibility. There is nothing in what the company has disclosed that suggests it is close to true.

Perhaps you have not read any of KBLB's recent PRs.
Theeternalchampion has graciously posted links to them in his post #47073.
In particular please examine the PRs of Feb.7th, Mar.30th, Apr.25th, May 1st, June 27th, and Aug.6th.

Perhaps you believe that Kim Thompson, Malcolm Fraser, et al etc. are all lying to you.
While this is remotely possible, it is extremely unlikely.
In ~3 years of statements made by Kim Thompson I have never found a single lie.
He has occasionally been overoptimistic in projected speculative timelines. (clearly labeled as speculative)
His statements have frequently been misinterpreted by certain individuals who were impatient for results and uninformed about the realities of scientific progress versus commercial marketability.
But he has never lied to us.

To pick one short phrase to demonstrate the invalidity of your statement:
You said: "There is nothing in what the company has disclosed that suggests it is close to true."
On August 6th, Kim Thompson said: "On the Monster Silk™ commercialization front, we are currently in privileged discussions with potential commercialization partners... We anticipate that those discussions will bear fruit in the near term."

Do you seriously contend that when Kim Thompson says "in the near term" he means "it's not going to be happening soon"

That may well be true... but, it's not going to be happening soon, and not without them accomplishing more than they've accomplished, thus far..

DUH! Yes, the actual accomplishment of commercialization will require at least one more step beyond what they have accomplished so far....the actual accomplishment of commercialization!

I did not say that Monster Silk(TM) was on the market now, I said that "Monster Silk(TM) is ready for market now."
