Financial Stocks: Knight Capital shares sink after $440M loss
Shares of Knight Capital Group Inc. tumble nearly 60% on Thursday after the market-making firm said it has suffered a $440 million pretax loss as a result of exiting its entire erroneous trading position that had been caused by a software glitch.
