I'm not sure why we have "now" filed a request for a re-exam of Intel's patent, instead of waiting until the new application for our continuation patent has been processed and issued with its own patent number and a priority date of its parent patent(the parent patent is our own patent that was filed previous to Intels patent and is considered prior art to Intels patent)?

When the new continuation application becomes a patent, it will be considered prior art to Intels patent. It seems to me that the re-exam should be requested after that new continuation patent is issued.

Just my own thoughts and opinion.
