The internet and automated processes, like pulling in feeds from AP and FDA, are what make this happen. Not because there are 1000s of people standing in the courtroom just waiting for the outcome, but because websites pull feeds for things of interest for their reader base.

It is the same exact reason why when MSLP puts out a PR about something completely non-important.... thousands of websites pick up the PR and pull it into their site. Bloomberg doesn't give a rat's behind about MSLP, but they pull in a feed that automatically updates. Most pharmacuetical websites care less about Jeremy Deluca or Musclepharm, but it was an automated feed that drug websites sucked in.

When these feeds come in.... a few things happen. First, the potential for more people to see it. This is a good thing when it is a good PR and a bad thing when it is a bad PR. Next, it gets indexed by Google .... so when people search for "Jeremy Deluca criminal" in the future, plenty of fodder comes up. Same thing for "Musclepharm record sales" on the good end.

All of this junk just means more exposure... for good or bad.
