I can't see any specific reason for it. Something I notice though is when the market makes a big move up most of my speculative stocks go down during that uptrend and then down the next trading day. I think some people sell shares to raise capital or margin power to buy things that will follow the market swing. This brings the share price down on an up day for the market. Other investors see that their penny stock went down on an up day and think this is a bad sign and then they sell shares. It doesn't take much to move this stock.
