"If the mill reopens, it would employ 20 to 25 people and would spark a reopening of mines that could create many more jobs. There are more than 1,000 old mines within a 50-mile radius of the mill, several of which have been permitted for mining but have no place to process ore."

Sounds a lot like the article in 2010 or so.
Odd, I thought the mine was going to employ a 100.

"Located in the area is a fully functional (it is?), state of the art, high capacity mill. This mill, named "Pride of the west" (POW) is centrally located, and is designed to process up to process up to 700 tons per day of ore. Furthermore, upon permit approval it will perform custom milling. When open, it would provide up to 100 jobs at full capacity, totally eliminating the 12.7% uneunemployment in San Jaun County."

The promise didn't happen the last few times, it's up to guyer and crew to prove he really means it this time. Now that a official of Cgi has allegedly gone on record and stated again a possible-possible start of operations in summer 2013.
Let the story telling commence.

From 2009 PR.

"We expect that this strategic plan will allow Colorado Goldfields to reach its goal of profitability, potentially within the next 18 months."
