LL, Does it work is your question. Good Question.

Well, let's see, NUNCHI has been seen in action at a demo and it worked just fine, from what Dischino and others have told us. Now, that was a long time ago. Hopefully, it has progressed nicely since then. We need an update that's for sure.

LL, Yes, I would like to know, just like you and hundreds of others would like to know, where do we stand with NUNCHI?... Where are we at? Are we at the start, the middle, or the end? Is it ready to sell? Have we sold it to anyone? I have lots of questions and I would like them answered too.

Now, with any type of Framework development, it is prudent to go through certain testing phases before selling it to the public. The last thing e.Digital needs is to sell the NUNCHI Framework and have it be "buggy as hell" and blowup in their faces. We don't want that at all.

Here's a general description of what a Framework is using Java and how it is developed. I'm using this as an example not as the direct process that e.Digital is using. It would be different for sure and I'd like to know that too..LOL.

A framework is a set of common and prefabricated software building blocks that programmers can use, extend or customize for specific computing solutions. With frameworks developers do not have to start from scratch each time they write an application. Frameworks are built from collection of objects so both the design and code of the framework may be reused.

A framework captures the programming expertise necessary to solve a particular class of problems. Programmers purchase or reuse frameworks to obtain such problem-solving expertise without having to develop it independently.

For the successful creation of a framework the developers should have good understanding of the following items:
1. Clearly identifying the class of problem a framework addresses. Because others have to understand how to use your frameworks, it is critical that you follow good software design practices.
2. Identifying the high-level structure of a framework can make it easier to describe the behavior of the framework and provides a starting point for designing framework interactions.
3. Typically, clients use a framework's built-in functionality by instantiating classes and calling their member functions. Clients extend and modify a framework's functionality by deriving new classes and overriding member functions.
4. The framework also addresses the process of solution creation and the strict rules that must be followed during the development process.
