I think what you guys are talking about has been already thought of. Cyclone is planning on doing a dragster with the old LSR frame, and the Mark 6!:

Hi Guys
We just recieved the donated frame for the Team Steam USA dragster. Another project Nelson will be doing. Getting the record for steam with a Cyclone engine. I do not know if a steam dragster record exists. We will be using the old LSR body that we build last year for this project.
The LSR frame should be here Thursday.

Hi Heavy
Actually the body is very light and will weigh less than 175 lbs, the frame is only about 140 lbs pluss other parts. The Mark 6 engine in this configuration will be only300lbs.
Of course the body was built here so any modifications are very easy for us. It will be consedered a light car for a professional dragster following the rules. The LSR car of course is the first hurdle and progressing rapidly. The body plug is built and final finish is taking place. It should be ready to mold on Monday. Nelson is well known in the dragster circles and operates a drivers school with a two seater dragster that does the 1/8 mile in 5 seconds.
