there are no rules that say you can't hear inside information. There are only rules that say you can't act (trade) on that information.

Since no one, with maybe the exception of Tony and Captain's parrot, know anything then they'd be the one(s) violating the rules. The CEO has an obligation to refrain from putting info into the public domain but should he say something and no trades result there isn't a violation.

That's why they call it "insider trading" not "insider listening".

Now that we got that out of the way, I want to know if that stinking parrot has been trading??
