LOL, actually, if you talk to any statistician, you'll find that calculation is the standard for clinical studies. Now you can argue that Celsius was looking for a lower standard of correlation and confidence, but given the parameters I specified, 200 participants is the ONLY answer anyone with a stat degree will get.

Now for a "better business bureau" validated marketing study, 5 participants would probably be OK.
