If you give a man a fish, he can eat for a day.
If you teach a man to fish, he can eat for life.

However "handouts", as some people still like to call them, are still necessary at times. Some people simply take them and wait for more - for others, it helps them get going.

At times we're too judgemental and we get wrapped up in name calling - just read some of the messages posted here.

BTW, I didn't like LBJ - just like GWB, he lied to the nation about taking this country to war and just as it is doing today, it tore the nation apart.
