(1) JBII doesn't sort plastic.
(2) JBII doesn't pay for plastic. Never has.
(3) JBII has a seemingly endless supply of free plastic. Stop by the recycling center and see for yourself.
(4) The only reference to paying for anything, which was an off-hand content conveniently twisted so badly by some that it looks like a pretzel. Steady T (who was actually there) put it well what was REALLY said, instead of the nonsense:
"The CEO's comments were those of a seasoned businessman. He said that plastic has a cost at the point of going into the processor. That cost can be quantified as the shredding and transportation borne by JBI after the plastic is delivered. He said that if the company can buy shredded plastic of the optimum type delivered to the company at a cost lower than the cost the company bears to produce the same plastic, processor ready, then the company would consider buying that plastic."
