A general observation: We (humans) seek to confirm our beliefs. Being long in a AU stock means we will actively seek out information confirming POG going North. One who has gone short or momentarily not in the business would tend to promote the opposite.
These observations are human - and do not apply all the time and for all people, but it is a good idea to have it in mind when trying to decide what to do.
