I've owned this for quite a while since the DLTO days. The analysts estimates for the Sept 05 quarter and Dec 05 quarter are $0.23 and $0.29 respectively. I concur with these estimates. In the June 05 quarter they made $0.17 per share. Friday the stock closed at $8.51/share.
The earnings have been growing since they switched from gain on sale accounting to portfolio accounting. The earnings should continue to grow for some time to come due to the switch in accounting treatment. Also, they focus on nonconforming mortgage loans which are not as interest rate sentitive as conforming loans.
I think that later this year this stock might start moving again.
