I find it absolutely amazing that you can make that assertion and not have Capt Billy, the count or capted respond. So you're saying that Horan would or would not have taken the case, if Jay was full of sh..? What is your take on this then? Is Horan a shyster lawyer who would represent anyone regardless of character to include both the Fishers and Jay Miscovic? Or would Horan only take a case and stay with a case knowing that the party had disclosed everything and was truthful? And expected a payday, a win. Or is Horan incompetent?

How is Horan to be paid? And how sincere is he on winning or finding a settlement?

I would submit to you that Horan (based on representing the Fishers) is professional, and of good character. So the bashers should interject their opinion.

Again you'd think the bashers would jump on this as they constantly profess to know that Jay lied, the gems worthless, etc.

Moreover, as usual something doesn't make sense. Why would the Fishers be chasing after worthless gems.

Seems like typical bashers always forget their multitude of made up stories and they just move on to the next topic.

I think the Fishers should walk away, based on the gems being worthless. And that Jay should go back to managing apartment rentals. Scott should actually get a crew and dive for some treasure.

And littlebride and gemscientist have moved on or changed aliases.

If ORRV did make a deal with Jay, they need to put out what they think that deal means to them cash-wise. If they think they will get millions, they should state it as such. If it just means they have nothing more than an interest in Jay's company, then they will never have any funding for subsequent projects at this rate. That would also take care of what another poster assumes correctly or incorrectly.
