I have been trying to write a scan to capture the first weekly histogram uptic. I have no trouble doing this in the daily timeframe but keep getting booted in weekly. Here is the histogram clause I put into my daily scan...can anybody help me produce the equivelent in weekly?


[daily macd hist(12,26,9) > yesterday's daily macd hist(12,26,9)]and [daily macd hist(12,26,9) < 0]and [yesterday's macd hist(12,26,9) < 2 days ago daily macd hist(12,26,9)]and [2 days ago daily macd hist(12,26,9) < 3 days ago daily macd hist(12,26,9)]


Considering a trade when the weekly histogram is entering the first or second uptic from a cleary "oversold" condition can lead to some good trades using the appropriate daily indicators and patterns.
