"Who said the post was directed solely to you, mom?"

Not I, I was just trying to think of a constructive way to handle the part that was directed at me without adding yet another post. In the spirit of fairness, I think one should be able to respond to such posts.

Fine. We have a "problem". Every time certain people obtain a link to a decent board, it is burned to the ground. They actually seem to enjoy the show. I sure as hell don't give out the links to it - I want to be left alone about it already.

I said here that I was in no position to call for an "ignore". I stated my opinion that I believed a collective ignore would be the only effective solution. My opinion hasn't changed. I haven't demanded that anyone choose sides, or not speak to certain people. I understand that many other posters speak to these individuals on other boards. I haven't said to ignore them there, only in places where they are deliberately attempting to burn the thing down.

Is it possible to have such a place exist without the constant interruption and board burning, or not? Is it asking too much to have a zone free of it? I don't go and try to find and burn down message boards where you all are talking to these individuals. Can I not be extended the same courtesy? I realize no one here can control the actions of others, but we could at least not give out the links to those who seem to enjoy the "show" so much.
