GWA.V Dr Air Im told Darren impresses a lot of people, even the professionals. Most company's don't have a talent like that on hand, and have to contract it out. Darrens there in the trenches, back with the drill, working on permitting issues, process flows, in Germany working on the ore sorting or in the regular office brain storming sessions.

Castle Gold achieves commercial production at Mexico mine
Published: 11th August 2008

Canadian junior Castle Gold has declared commercial production at its new El Castillo mine, in Mexico's Durango state,

The mine produced 4 692 oz of gold during the second quarter of this year, and ran at more than 80% of budgeted levels in all areas of operation during the three months.

“Having attained commercial production rates over a sustainable period we're already planning for improved performance going forward as we endeavour to enhance the potential of the El Castillo mine,” said mine development VP Darren Koningen.

“We've achieved good operating results relative to our initial plans, and costs consistent with budget."

Additionally Garth Wilcox Darrins right hand man at Gowest Gold, also worked for Castle Gold Ltd. as Manager of Engineering in the design and construction of two operating mines

Dr Air, I know, having met them, you would know they are very conservative with their information and would not talk about any specific staged start up plan unless they had enough info/signed agreements to put out publicly.

Ive expressed a few times, how happy we all would be, if they put together a low capex browns field with permits in place to produce the 90gpt concentrate they talk about shipping. There are several in the Timmins area. Just have to do all the economic studys and see if one fits. They could announce a JV any day as well.

For .10 - .12 cents a share, and 10 - 15m MC, I'LL take my chances, hang in there, keeping up on the information. I am convinced their North Timmins gold project will be impressive. How they get there, remains to be seen.
