I've always heard that God is omnipotent (all powerful) and he is:

I have always heard that God is omnipresent (being present everywhere at the same time). The word omnipresent is not in the Bible, but the verses above suggest that God is everywhere. We cannot hide from him anywhere. Here are some additional verses:

God is also omniscient (having complete or unlimited knowledge, awareness, or understanding; perceiving all things). The word omniscient is not in the Bible either.

I don't know why people believe God is not everywhere, including hell, but I have other people say this too.
