Rod Martin, SIRG's CEO, stood in front of a crowd of residents, officials and BLM agents at the town hall meeting HOSTED by SIRG in Chloride on June 6th and announced that they plan on returning the Chloride Copper Mine to production in Jan/Feb.

A contract was awarded to Desert Construction to handle the dig/load/haul part of the operations.

Here is one of their trucks that will be ready to roll in Jan/Feb.

Perhaps a call to Desert Construction could be made to see when Rod expected them to start.

Desert Construction, Inc.
4490 East Highway 66
Kingman, AZ. 86401
Phone: 928-757-2213
Fax: 928-757-8544

Desert Construction has all the mining equipment needed and it is very smart for Rod to hire out this part of the operations and not borrow money to buy all that expensive equipment, plus hiring and training their own employees.

I believe they will be doing any grading required to enlarge the heap leach pond. The new heap leach pond is estimated to take 30-45 days to build.
