Worth noting the discussion on mining jurisdictions...

http://www.zerohedge.com/article/15-best-and-15-worst-mining-jurisdictions-world

As others, I disagree with a few of the conclusions... as, obviously, saying Australia is "great" relative to others, only because they opted for a new tax of only 30% of profits instead of 40% ? LOL!!!

Much of the rest is clearly arbitrary... but, useful as a point from which to begin the discussion, at least... Unfortunately, the discussion of the topic didn't really develop.

For SOHAF... Bolivia is properly on the list of the worst... Chile properly near the top on the list of the best...

It's quite possible that SOHAF is worth MORE without the Bolivian project risks than they were worth with them... only because their assets are now not going to be subjected to the risks they were...

Investors losing the ~ $16 million (unverified) spent thus far in Bolivia, probably dodged a bullet... because now they don't have to put the $38 million in SOHAF's remaining cash at risk in that black hole in Bolivia... rather than putting it to work in Chile...

Having seen this sort of thing before... it's worth watching... as I expect there may be legal action that might take place in CANADIAN courts... particularly as/if it turns out that some SOHAF competitors have been "cooperating" with the Bolivian government on a plan to backdoor SOHAF...
