It depends on how much pressure you have to flow against in the gas pipeline. If the 400psi is correct and is a maximum, depending on the size of the oil rim and where it was completed, this well could flow for a while. 1000psi is not that high but is a real good FTP. Bull, what was the pressure when they first opened the well before they let it flow. I have worked on wells that came on at 11,250psi. I flow a well right now that has 985psi FTP and makes 110bbls oil and 7500mcf/d in gas. This is a gas well though. I flow an oil well with 1100psi that makes 70bbls oil and has been flowing for 5 years and 2 years at this pressure and our gas pipeline pressure is 850 to 900psi. I also flow a well that has 2300psi FTP and makes 1500bbls of oil per day. It all depends on the size of the oil rim and where it is completed. GO TECO
