Fundamentals will not prevail if we get a short attack. Potential sellers will want to get out as quickly as possible, and potential buyers will be waiting, patiently, to see how cheap they can get it.
In short, the share price will collapse.
All the company can do is be prepared. Repurchase stock and increase shareholder value. But I wouldn't count on it. And the shorts probably know it. There is no cash.
There is a silver lining, however. Because after this attack, Solomon will never issue another share for the rest of his life.
It'll be the shorts who will teach him a lesson. We don't have to do it.
